Job interview adalah wawancara yang dilakukan oleh karyawan atau manajer personalia terhadap pelamar pekerjaan. Bagian personalia menanyakan hal-hal tentang data diri pelamar dan beberapa pertanyaan terkait posisi yang akan ditempati oleh pelamar. Dalam kesempatan itu, pelamar juga dapat menceritakan keahlian dan pengalamannya sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk bagian personalia, sekaligus menunjukkan bahwa yang bersangkutan pantas berada di posisi tersebut.
